Speculation of pre-1829 connection between Cowdery and Smith Oliver Cowdery



joseph smith, sr. , cowdery s father, william, may have been members of congregationalist sect known new israelites, organized in rutland county, vermont. cowdery family lived in rutland county in 19th century , later attended congregationalist church in poultney, vermont. witnesses vermont connected william cowdery sect before these witnesses have known son, oliver, dowser.
