as strong , rapidly deepening storm system encountered unseasonably warm air mass, high risk of severe weather issued spc november 17 large part of midwest, second time in 2013 , first time in november since november 15, 2005. large outbreak of tornadoes occurred across ohio valley , great lakes states, including 1 high-end ef4 tornado, estimated winds of 190 mph (310 km/h) struck city of washington, illinois, 3 people killed , 125 others injured. ef4 tornado tracked across parts of washington county, illinois, destroyed farm house, killing 2 people inside, , caused damage several structures in new minden. overall, outbreak resulted in 8 tornado related fatalities. many other tornadoes impacted kentucky , indiana, few in missouri, michigan, ohio, , tennessee.
