the final tornado event of 2013 small outbreak of tornadoes took place december 20 21. initial tornadoes on 20th weak, ef1 in arkansas, , 2 ef0s near jackson, mississippi. storm prediction center issued moderate risk severe weather following day, including risk area 15 percent chance tornadoes in parts of louisiana, arkansas, , mississippi. later evening, ef2 tornado passed near hughes, arkansas, destroying several mobile homes, killing 1 person , injuring 3 others. ef2 passed near rena lara, mississippi caused additional fatality in mobile home. overall, outbreak produced 13 tornadoes , resulted in 2 fatalities.
