the gizmondo, handheld gaming device featuring gps , digital camera, released tiger telematics in united kingdom on 19 march 2005. poor promotion, few games (only fourteen ever released), short battery life, small screen, competition cheaper , more reputable nintendo ds, digiblast , psp, , controversy surrounding company, system commercial failure. on 23 january 2006, uk arm of tiger telematics went administration. several high-ranking tiger executives subsequently arrested fraud , other illegal activities related gizmondo. far world s worst selling handheld console in history, , due failure in european , american video game markets, not released in australia or japan. tiger telematics went bankrupt when discontinued in february 2006, 11 months after released.
