the ambulatory runs around choir area , gives access ten side chapels. on north side of choir , along ambulatory there 3 chapels, chapelle sainte-anne, chapelle mont-carmel , chapelle saint-joseph. chapel dedicated sainte anne contains 18th-century statue of sainte anne , enfeu (walled tomb) coat of arms broken motto s il plait à dieu still legible.


after chapelle saint-joseph move 3 apsidal chapels, chapelle sainte-phliomèna, chapelle de la sainte-croix , chapelle saint-andré. 3 of these chapels pentagonal in shape. chapelle sainte-phliomèna @ 1 time used access cloisters , contains statue of philomena. chapelle de la sainte-croix cathedral s axial chapel , holds insignia of basilica. chapel holds pietà in polychromed wood , painting of christ s descent cross. third chapel chapelle saint-andré known chapelle des morts , dedicated men of parish gave lives in great war. chapel includes 3 stained glass windows marking war , statue of saint michael , of saint andrew whom first tréguier cathedral dedicated.
