route 50 begins @ intersection 9 in seaville section of upper township, cape may county, heading north on two-lane undivided road. southern terminus, ramp provides access , southbound garden state parkway. road heads north through rural wooded areas buildings. intersects cr 671 in greenfield before coming junction cr 616. later, route 50 cedar swamp creek in area of marshland. @ crossing, road runs closely parallel conrail shared assets operations railroad line before entering petersburg, splits railroad tracks , comes crossroad cr 610. upon leaving petersburg, route 50 turns north again , crosses on conrail shared assets operations railroad line, intersecting cr 631. continues tuckahoe , comes cr 669. past intersection, route meets cr 557 , cr 664. route 50 forms concurrency cr 557 , 2 routes head north , encounter eastern terminus of route 49 before leaving tuckahoe.
