* these recording released on record talking dust bowl on folkways records in 1950 moe asch, without rca s licences. these recordings made rca records in 1940 , released on albums dust bowl ballads vol 1 , 2. these records have been subsequently reisuued in 1964 , 1977.

possibly guthrie s famous recordings, conducted on series of days moses moe asch in 1944 , 1945. issued on variety of labels under asch, asch-stinson, asch-signature-stinson, disc, folkways , verve/folkways.



many recordings have unknown session dates. these included in list available @ united states library of congress titled surviving recordings in smithsonian folklife archive made woody guthrie moses asch . moe asch says woody s kids song recorded sometime in 1947 , sacco , vanzetti ballads recorded january 1947.
