avaxim: made sanofi pasteur. inactivated hepatitis virus produced in mrc-5 cells. each dose contains 160 u of antigen adsorbed on aluminium hydroxide (0.3 mg al).
epaxal: made crucell. sold under brand names havpur , virohep-a. vaccine consists of virosomes, artificial particles composed of synthetic lipids , influenza proteins in addition hepatitis antigen. not contain aluminium.
havrix: made glaxosmithkline. inactivated hepatitis virus produced in mrc-5 cells. each adult dose contains 1440 elisa units of viral antigen adsorbed on aluminium hydroxide (0.5 mg al). pediatric (child) doses contain half amount of viral antigen , aluminium.
healive: made sinovac. inactivated hepatitis virus cultured in human diploid cell, followed harvest, purification, inactivation, , aluminium adsorption. each adult dose contains 500 u of viral antigen. pediatric dose contains 250 u of viral antigen.
vaqta: made merck. inactivated hepatitis virus produced in mrc-5 cells. adult dose contains 50 u of antigen adsorbed onto 0.45 mg of aluminium (as aluminium hydroxyphosphate sulfate); child dose contains half amounts of antigen , aluminium.
biovac-a: made pukang, sold under brand name biovac-a in india , under brand names mevac-a in guatemala, philippines, bangladesh, nepal, uzbekistan , chile etc. freeze-dried live attenuated hepatitis vaccine. hepatitis virus h2 strain produced in human deploid cells. vaccine can induce human body generate antibody prevent hepatitis a. pack of 0.5ml vial of biovac-a , 0.5ml ampoule of swfi (sterile water injection), content should not less 6.5 lg ccid50. single dose needed. recommended who. long term persistence research data predicated sero-conversion remained , antibody titer not less 128 iu/ml after 15 years vaccination.
