california state university, fullerton, commonly known cal state fullerton or csuf, first established in 1957 orange county state college. twelfth member of california state university system, main campus located on 236 acres (0.96 km) of former orange grove in northeast fullerton near state route 57 , nutwood avenue. in fall semester of 2007, 37,130 students enrolled in undergraduate , graduate degree programs, making largest university in csu system , second largest university in state of california in terms of enrollment.
