the building of villa francia one-storey building used hunting lodge when of lija undeveloped. people living in countryside feared attacks ottoman empire. when these attacks stopped lija became village on demand noble people , later modern buildings. place may no longer used hunting site.

the palace believed completed in late eighteenth century. additional construction such upper storey added in late 18th century. other internal , external works took place in mid-twentieth century used residence villa. @ first called villa preziosi.
