the schaumburg hs football team take on mid-suburban league rivals barrington in 2014.


schaumburg has 47 clubs & activities , 24 athletic organizations. member of mid-suburban league. shs member of illinois high school association (ihsa), governs interscholastic sports , activities in state. mascot siegie saxon , known saxons.


schaumburg sponsors interscholastic athletic teams young men , women in basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, volleyball, , water polo. young men may compete in baseball, football, wrestling, while young women may compete in badminton, bowling, , softball. school sponsors teams young men , women in lacrosse, though sport not sponsored ihsa.
