the john alden house historic house museum purportedly home john , priscilla alden. located @ 105 alden street in duxbury, massachusetts. scholarship variously dates built in 1653 according family tradition, or c. 1700 according more recent dendrochronology testing of beams.


alden ship s cooper on mayflower arrived in plymouth in 1620 , later moved duxbury. although not pilgrim himself, important figure throughout period of plymouth colony. house may have used materials alden s earlier house nearby.
