july 1–2
several weak tornadoes touched down in eastern united states during first 2 days of july. on 1st, ef1 tornado moved through windsor, connecticut, causing widespread damage. other tornadoes touched down in connecticut, new jersey, maryland, illinois, , florida. on july 2, ef1 tornado struck near florence, south carolina, several site-built homes , mobile homes either damaged or destroyed , 9 people injured. 2 other brief tornadoes affected north carolina , illinois, causing minimal damage.
july 9–10
a small outbreak of weak tornadoes occurred in midwestern united states, lasting july 9 july 10. several tornadoes touched down on 9th in north dakota, nebraska, , wisconsin, including unusually long-tracked ef0 stayed on ground 28 miles (45 km) near irma, wisconsin. widespread damaging winds , tornado activity continued next day across kansas, indiana, ohio valley, , northeastern united states, none stronger ef1 in intensity. northern ohio hardest hit, 5 touchdowns confirmed. other tornadoes touched down in indiana, kansas, pennsylvania, , connecticut.
