west bromwich albion

glover signed division 4 side brentford on loan in october 1976. impressed enough during 6 appearances manager bill dodgin bid permanent transfer, terms failed agreed.

glover , west bromwich albion teammate joe mayo joined division 2 club orient in march 1977 makeweights in deal took laurie cunningham hawthorns £110,000. glover failed win regular place in first team @ brisbane road, making 37 league appearances , scoring 5 goals in 18-month stay, departing in november 1978.
