biography

richard andrew born in yonkers, new york on february 17, 1983. @ age of 9, father gave him guitar, , although did not have interest in playing guitar, sparked interest in becoming musician. began writing rhymes , singing around age 10. attended st. joseph s school in bronxville, ny.


early career

outasight began playing shows @ small venues in new york city such bowery poetry club , nuyorican cafe. after first ep release employee of year, played @ 2007 hip-hop festival alongside major label acts such ghostface killah, skillz, , consequence. in june 2008, outasight released second promotional cd, titled radio new york. release saw more commercial success, , featured in xxl magazine s soundcheck choice in talk about. music video song evening (dream big) received video rotation spot on mtvu in fall of 2008, after winning 2008 mtvu freshmen video contest. evening popularized use in ray william johnson s youtube-based vlog series: breaking nyc.

outasight performed live @ 2012 nhl all-star game in ottawa, ontario, single tonight night song player introductions. on january 17, 2012, outasight performed song tonight night on late night jimmy fallon roots. on april 13, 2012, outasight confirmed via facebook second single upcoming debut album called or never , out soon. released on may 11, 2012. debut album, nights these released on november 23, 2012, , peaked @ no. 13 on heatseekers albums chart.


2014–present: big trouble , richie

in 2015, launched recording label named rpm msc in partnership management. outasight s sophomore studio album, big trouble, released on october 23, 2015 through rpm msc. lead single wild life released on july 29, 2015 , featured in bud light lime & mountain dew summer campaigns , several films. next single, boogie selected in apple watch 2 campaign, opening introduction nba primetime on abc, , credit song box office blockbuster, central intelligence.


his next single, crazy , released late summer of 2016. song featured in film (mike , dave needs wedding dates) along (the nut job 2: nutty nature) , soundtrack video game, madden 17.


outasight released first single of 2017 on april 7 got , announced third album coming in summer.


4 days later, music video got released. on june 9th, outsight released single life of party part of summer of new music him. music video life of party released on june 30th. week later dropped next single feel features hoodie allen. outasight announced next album richie on july 28, releasing song ny 2 la. . richie set release on august 18th, 2017. week away release, outasight released song still young, talks how our youth can never escape us.
