tyger served in many actions in career of 100 years, including siege of colchester during english civil war, pursuit of prince rupert west indies, , first , second anglo–dutch wars (including battle of solebay). served in mediterranean, in defense of gibraltar, in actions against guadeloupe , martinique , blockade of cartagena, colombia in 1741.
tyger rebuilt first time in 1681 john shish @ deptford dockyard 44-gun fourth rate ship of line. rebuilt second time @ rotherhithe in 1702, fourth rate of 46-54 guns. final rebuild @ sheerness dockyard, relaunched on 12 november 1722 50-gun fourth rate 1706 establishment.
