ishaq dar said government has devised strategy overcome prevailing challenges @ economic front including energy crisis.before presentation of budget in national assembly, meeting of national economic council (nec) scheduled held on monday 10 june consider , approve funding public sector development programme(psdp) (2013–14).senator ishaq dar said circular debt has expanded rs. 500 billion , resolving energy crisis there dire need rid of burden adding upcoming budget devised in way come out of vicious circle.

the federal minister said debt on government has surged rs. 3000 billion rs. 14000 billion , government not bound pay loans pay interests according schedule.the government opt better mechanism pay these loans adding engaged devise proper strategy in regard adding payment due till december. federal minister said country have spend on defense, infrastructure , other social sector programs. said international monetary fund (imf) post-monitoring program missions scheduled visit pakistan in third week of june.


on revenues, federal minister said federal board of revenue(fbr) has been directed achieve revised tax collection target in time. fbr had revised revenue target rs. 2301 rs. 2193 , rs. 2116.the minister said government try achieve revenue targets set upcoming fiscal year (2013–14). said there dire need enhance income , resources improve economy , lead country towards progress , prosperity. stressed need striking balance between income , expenditures , informed media persons austerity measures taken reduce expenditures.
