everett s father 1 of co-founders of omega championship wrestling along jeff hardy , matt hardy, helped train him. everett has wrestled on independent circuit, appearing promotions omega, pro wrestling guerrilla (pwg), combat zone wrestling (czw), global force wrestling (gfw) , alternative wrestling world (aww). internationally, everett has wrestled british promotion revolution pro wrestling.

on february 9, 2017, everett attacked trevor lee , gregory shane helms, kicking him out of helms dynasty, turning him face in process. on february 23, 2017, everett ran down , saved djz lee , helms. on april 20 episode of impact wrestling, lee lost impact wrestling x division championship low-ki in six-way match including everett, sonjay dutt, dezmond xavier , suicide.


on july 6 episode of impact wrestling episode of impact, everett entered 2017 gfw super x cup tournament. on july 13, eliminated in first round ach.


the cult of lee (2017–present)

on october 5 episode of impact!, everett joined alliance of trevor lee , caleb konley, losing team of sonjay dutt, petey williams , matt sydal in six-man tag team match, turning heel again in process.
