man mohan sharma obtained bachelor of chemical engineering (1958) udct (ict) , subsequently msc (tech) in 1960. obtained phd (chemical engineering) (1964) @ cambridge university pv danckwerts. in 1964, returned india professor @ university of bombay, , later became director of university department of chemical technology (udct), ict (institute of chemical technology – deemed university). remained professor 33 years @ udct, along 8 years director of instititute. has been honoured several universities including iits honorary doctorates.
