when visitors enter museum, first see videos of local music heroes fukui boys, took world storm during premiere performance @ fukui international activities plaza. take long escalator down first floor of basement. basement contains dino street, hallway displaying fossils of of earliest known life on earth. bone bed sits @ end of hallway , replica of actual site in wyoming, usa.


from there, visitors can go main exhibition hall, museum s primary exhibition space , consists of dinosaur fossils. though many of dinosaur fossils replicas, displays use actual dinosaur fossils , visitors allowed touch of displays. various dioramas, including robotic dinosaurs move , make sounds, used show visitors conceptual @ dinosaurs habitats.

the second floor contains exhibits focusing on earth sciences, including plate tectonics, rock formation , precious gems. third floor focuses on history of life, showing timeline formation of earth until modern times. in addition dinosaurs, exhibit shows of earliest single-celled organisms , evolution mammals of today.




the museum contains dino lab, has real fossils on display visitors can feel , lift up. there fossil cleaning room visitors can watch actual fossils being cleaned , preserved.


there outdoor exhibits complement main ones inside museum. spring fall, visitors can experience excavation activities @ location on park grounds. additional replicas of dinosaurs , fossils can found throughout park grounds.
