ring of time monumental bronze sculpture installed in outer foyer of standard plaza on southwest 6th between madison , main in downtown portland s transit mall. designed hilda grossman morris , created during 1965–1967. allegorical sculpture, represents time, 120 inches (3.0 m) tall , owned standard insurance company. portland tribune has described sculpture rough , primitive , chunky, clunky, big , funky .
