the storm system produced severe blizzard impacted south dakota.

a tornado struck western victorian town of ararat @ 7:30 p.m. local time, causing significant damage residential , commercial structures.

a small outbreak of weak tornadoes occurred across parts of southern , midwestern united states. ef2 tornado snapped trees , damaged 3 homes southwest of baker, missouri. ef1 tornado damaged homes , other buildings in vandalia, ohio , 8 people @ restaurant suffered minor injuries broken glass. overall, storm system responsible total of 46 tornado reports, 31 of confirmed.
