these systems have not been deciphered. in cases, such meroitic, sound values of glyphs known, texts still cannot read because language not understood. several of these systems, such epi-olmec , indus, claimed have been deciphered, these claims have not been confirmed independent researchers. in many cases doubtful writing. vinča symbols appear proto-writing, , quipu may have recorded numerical information. there doubts indus writing, , phaistos disc has little content or context nature undetermined.
